Integrity
Do what I said I would do, and be honest when something isn’t working.
I’m Jahmone: Jamaican, salesman at heart and founder of Hubmark®. Businesses hire me to design their customer journeys and build the CRM and ERP systems behind them. This is the story behind how I work.

They shape how I work with clients too: honest audits, your customers first, and systems that keep improving after launch. And one motto I’ve carried for years: carpe diem.
Do what I said I would do, and be honest when something isn’t working.
Put the client, the team and the next generation first. Someone opened doors for me, so I open them for others.
Every process, every pitch and every day can be a little better than the last.

I didn’t become an entrepreneur because I had a business plan. I became one because of small moments that changed how I saw things.
In my late teens I was unemployed. One afternoon a few younger kids from my community asked how many CXC subjects I had. “Fifteen,” I said. One of them turned to the others: “He has fifteen subjects, leads the youth club, and still can’t get a job.”
They weren’t making fun of me. They were trying to work out what it meant for them. If someone who did everything they were told was still struggling, what chance did they have? That question stayed with me. I realised I couldn’t just tell people things would get better. I had to build a life that answered it.
A few months later someone invited me to an Amway meeting. People were reading, sharing ideas, setting goals and working on themselves, and it felt like I’d found my people. But one thought kept interrupting: if I was going to dedicate my life to building something, why not build something of my own?
So I did. I sold on the phones at VXI by day and studied marketing at UWI by night. In 2018 I started Hubmark®. Every dream I once filed under “someday”, including finally visiting New York City, reminds me that where you start doesn’t have to decide where you end up.
That’s still the work. Since 2018 Hubmark® has served 240+ clients across the Caribbean, North America and Latin America. As a Zoho Authorized Partner, I help businesses map how leads become customers and how their people deliver, then build the systems in Zoho One that make it repeatable. The sales floor taught me the customer side. Running a business taught me the rest.
I’m Jahmone Salmon, a brand development professional from Jamaica. I’ve spent 8+ years leading teams and building the brand, sales and CRM systems that help businesses win customers and keep them.

My career started on the sales floor. I joined VXI in 2016 as a Sales Agent on the AT&T account and was promoted to Sales Team Manager. I kept doing quality work the whole way through, auditing calls, training new hires and setting standards.
From there I led quality on a global Microsoft support account at Concentrix and ran a sales team for 1-800-DENTIST at Ibex. Altogether I’ve directly and indirectly supervised more than 300 people.
In 2018 I started Hubmark®, a brand development company that is now an authorized Zoho partner. My team of Hubbers and I have served 240+ clients across the Caribbean, North America and Latin America with branding, marketing and CRM/IT infrastructure.
I hold a B.Sc. in Marketing from The University of the West Indies and an MSc in Big Data & Business Intelligence. I use the data to find the root cause first, then design the fix.

Years ago my director and I signed off on a supplier’s report. We’d double-checked it. But when it came time to update our system, something didn’t add up. We went back in and found a small error that had already rippled into later reports.
I emailed the supplier straight away. It was Boxing Day. She replied the same day, and she was furious, though I was never sure whether it was about the report or the holiday. When we finally met face to face this year there was no awkwardness at all. She even invited me to her event.
The lesson stuck: a report being signed off doesn’t mean you stop asking questions. Sometimes a problem only shows up when you follow it far enough downstream. And yes, I also learned to schedule my emails.
It’s why the journeys I build for clients have checks downstream: approval routing, validation rules and dashboards that catch an error before it ripples into the next report.

I volunteered with Komatsu at Feed My Starving Children, packing meals for communities in Uganda. It was rewarding, and I learned a lot about what happens behind the scenes to get meals across the globe.

Thanks to Feed My Starving Children and Komatsu for being agents of change. Seeing a delivery operation that precise up close was a reminder of what good process makes possible.
From the UWI Marketing Association to Coders of the Caribbean, I’ve spent years in rooms helping young professionals and founders build their brands.

Governance & Advocacy on the JTDA council.
Part of the team behind RevUP Caribbean.
Standing with young founders and the small businesses that keep Jamaica running.
Books, friends and new places. Nothing to do with CRMs.
I read for fun and keep a running book list on Instagram. Some nights it’s a game, others a good movie.
Some of my best ideas come from hanging out with friends, not from meetings.
I love travelling somewhere I’ve never been and seeing how business and life work there.
